I got the idea for this piece from indian
brass libation jugs.
they are used in hindu temples to pour milk over
statues or lingams and for water libation in prayer.
their shape is a little different, but they have the
detail of the handle that´s attached directly to the
rim in common.
this pot could very well be used for milk, cream or
soysauce
