vase with molded shoulder portion

the shape of this vase reminds me of
the advent of the industrial age.
it looks like a hut with a huge chimney.
yet it´s a quiet, unassuming vessel that will
hold your flower arrangement without
jumping into the foreground.
imagine it in a still-life with butterflies
and pomegranates.
it was made in three sections, the shoulder
portion with four (barely) raised lines
appearing from a clay mold and being
united with base and neck on the wheel
