teapot with cane handle

one of my favorite teapot shapes.
a variation of classic qing-dynasty forms,
stripped of decoration.
the jar-like body has a flat bottom and is
totally untrimmed, yet extremely lightweight.
the edge where the shoulder meets the wall is
stressed with a ridge of slip.
nice glaze application.
