german chawan with metallic tenmoku glaze

Ø 11,5 - 12cm

I used a combination of two glazes on this chawan,
first a layer of a glaze containing various metallic
oxides was applied and on top of that a layer of
tenmoku glaze.
the two interact and create melting patterns over
the entire surface of the piece, with particularly
nice oilspot-type spots on the inside
