this is a vessel for oil or vinegar.
the hollow cylindrical knob on the lid
corresponds to the neck of the receptable.
it´s covered with a slightly different
transparent glaze that´s distinguished
from my standard recipe by an absence
of china clay.
the result is a crackled glaze.
can also be used as a sake server or
large soysauce ewer
