shape of things to come
h 65cmthis piece is about the the passing of time
and the change of shapes, especially the human body
as it developes, ages and dies.
originally it was paired with a pillar made of fired sand,
which has crumbled and disappeared in the days after the firing,
leaving the elongated ceramic piece alone and abandoned.
it could be reminiscent of a tree with silver or grey leaves,
representing any living being in the last phase of its lifespan,
but also of a chandelier with shining lights
